Metwork having a great time at the American Association for Justice (AAJ) Annual Convention in Philadelphia? Double-check.
Last weekend, Metwork team members from all over the country headed to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to attend AAJ’s 2023 Annual Convention, “Real Justice, Real Results.” Held at the historic Philadelphia Convention Center, the convention included seminars, meetings, CLE programs, networking events, and an exhibitor’s hall, where we spent most of our time.

Philadelphia marks Metwork’s third consecutive AAJ convention. “Every time I return to AAJ, there are more familiar faces,” Metwork CEO Jack Metier said. “Some of our earliest users stopped by the booth with great ideas to make Metwork even better. We are always adding more features to Metwork, so be sure to join and see what gets added next.”
Like previous conventions, AAJ knew how to create an interactive, immersive experience. During the day, we conversed with lawyers visiting the exhibitor’s hall and forged connections with vendors. At night, we participated in networking events, including the opening reception at the Reading Terminal Market, where we connected with AAJ attendees and sampled all the tasty treats. There was even the extra bonus of a puppy petting session–very important business indeed.

“The events were great,” Metwork Content Marketing Manager Frank Tybush said, “but the best part was talking with lawyers and showing them our software. From law students to industry veterans, the interest was incredible. I got immediate feedback and learned more about their challenges, which further reinforced the impact Metwork can have on the legal community.”
Connecting with fellow exhibitors at AAJ was a key part of our visit. "The event in Philadelphia was a great opportunity to collaborate," Metwork COO Chris Matney said. "One of the common themes we noticed is that vendors are looking for a consistent, reliable way to connect with attorneys without investing more dollars in advertising. Only a week on the job, Metwork brought their new Product Marketing Manager, Will Osolinsky, along for a crash course in all things legal. “AAJ was four action-packed days where I learned about challenges and opportunities in the legal field. I was fascinated by how diverse professionals come together to form dynamic teams that win cases. Business aside, I made true friends that I'm looking forward to seeing at AAJ Austin in 2024.”
Plans are already in motion for future events, and we’re excited to announce that we won’t be breaking the AAJ streak anytime soon. “For all the new members who joined right in the exhibit hall,” Jack said, “we will see you again at AAJ in Austin.”
AAJ’s 2023 Annual Convention was the last in-person event before the live launch of Metwork, but there’s still time to experience the software for free.
